Our physical forms are the vehicle through which our spiritual essence gets to experience its own mysterious creation - to be bewildered by its creation, shocked by it, in awe of it and even confused by it. Adyashanti - Falling into Grace (via iam-youis)

caniborrowyourgirlfriend asked: Are you excited to hang out with me on saturday (I know you're my biggest fan)

i want everyone to know that i’m your biggest fan I WANT TO SCREAM IT FROM THE MOUNTAINTOPS

Abuse of any kind does not end with the experience, it repeats itself over and over again in our minds. Regardless of the nature of the abuse, the memory continually haunts us and oftentimes, we surrender to it. It creeps into our dreams; it goes with us everywhere. This is just another reason to stop and think. We must truly align our actions with our hearts, because when we act from a place of love, there is no space to perform actions that can harm others. Be proud of who you are, and not ashamed of how someone else sees you. Unknown (via purplebuddhaproject)
We don’t allow ourselves to have a relationship with someone because we are afraid of being hurt. We stay stuck in the jobs that we hate because we are terrified of losing what we know and having to face the unknown. Fear of making changes in our lives keeps us from taking the very steps that are necessary to better ourselves and the world we live in. Carolina Zacaria (via blogcarolinazacariaworld)

Anonymous asked: The quote you posted sounds exactly like the philosophy of Nichiren Buddhism. Maybe look into it?

I’ve never heard of that before, will definitely check it out. Thanks! :)

wow music has been making me so emotional lately, and it’s not even the lyrics… it’s the passion in the singer’s voice, the way the rhythm pulses through my bones and makes me feel alive. i guess lately i’ve been getting lost in the beauty of the simple things.

What if our religion was each other
If our practice was our life
If prayer, our words
What if the temple was the Earth
If forests were our church
If holy waters - the rivers, lakes, and ocean
What if meditation was our relationships
If the teacher was life
If wisdom was self-knowledge
If love was the center of our being.
