my girlfriend and i have been in a long distance relationship for nearly a year and a half. she lives in israel, i live in florida… we’ve only been able to see each other twice since we started dating, yet despite the distance… our love prevails. here’s our story.
today we celebrate 1 year and 10 months together. happy anniversary to the best girlfriend in the world. :) <3 i’m so glad we get to be together for our next two anniversaries, including our 2 year.
i am seriously so excited.
in 18 days, i’ll be on my way to israel… on my way to my girlfriend again. i am so ready.
though it is definitely not the longest time we’ve had to wait to see one another, 153 days is a really long time to be without the person you love.
and knowing that in such a short amount of time, we’ll be together again… that’s a feeling i can’t possibly describe in words.

remember that time last summer when we were going to greece and our flight was delayed for an entire 12 hours? i would have lost my mind if i wasn’t stuck there with you.

this summer… mali and i are going to have to start figuring things out. i’m going into my senior year. i’d like to at least have somewhat of an idea as to what i’m going to do after i graduate… and right now, i really don’t know. best case scenario? i end up in israel, with mali, with some sort of job/internship/volunteer opportunity. do i have any clue as to how i could make that happen? not really.
maybe we’ll just go to a bunch of different places in israel and pretend we live there for a day and see if we survive LOL
or maybe one of you reading this has a better idea.
